Paytm announces same day delivery in 20 cities Mobile payment and ecommerce platform, Paytm has announced that it’ll supply same day delivery on merchandise in 20 cities in india via its on-line to Offline (O2O) program. the corporate says that it’s begun deliveries with local suppliers and can add additional categories.
For now, same day delivery is available on large appliances and mobiles, and is already active on the platform. Paytm notes that sellers themselves provide delivery and installation, where as it allows them to do so by training them on a way to manage on-line customer expectations and experience. Paytm, one of the largest e-commerce platform with 1.2 lakh sellers and more than 3000 shipping large appliances locally, over Rs 20 crore worth of orders are shipped on the same day in a month.
A few months back, Paytm and PVR cinemas announced a partnership that will enable user to buy movie tickets via Paytm’s e-commerce platform. Besides PVR tickets, the partnership also enclosed the sale and selling of F&Bproducts on Paytm’s web portal, app, and other affiliate channel.
